Configuring Mac OS X Mail
Solution
The Mac Mail application is located in the applications folder of your hard drive and can also be started from your Dock. The icon looks like a postage stamp.
Go to the "Mail" menu and select "Preferences"
On the Accounts option, select "Add Account"
On the Account Information tab, select "POP" from the Account Type menu
Add a description for your account
Enter the email address
In the Full Name field, put the name you would like people you send email to see
For "Incoming mail server", type: pop3.yourdomain.com
In the User name field, type the email address for this account
Then type in the password associated with this email account
Click on the dropdown menu for for "Outgoing server" and select "New server"
Enter: smtp.yourdomain.com
and the port setting should be 25
Click OK to close that window and OK again to save the Accounts settings
